When our education program was founded, teachers said they were under pressure to teach to standards and in response, we targeted the premier standards-setting organizations as partners. Thinkfinity lessons continue to support -- and are aligned to --national education standards.
We have launched the first phase of a project to align Thinkfinity resources to the state standards, again in response to teacher needs. To view our progress on this exciting next step, select a state from the drop-down menu on the Search Results page for Thinkfinity Partner-created lesson plans. These alignments will be updated on a regular basis as new or updated standards become available, and as our state standards alignment project moves into the next phase.
Our partner in this initiative is Syracuse University’s Center for Natural Language Processing, the same organization that brought us GEM a decade ago. The academic standards are provided by JES & Co.’s ASN service.
